COMPANY DESCRIPTION:

Our client is one of South Africa's leading office consumables suppliers and is looking for an Administration Clerk to join their team in Midrand.

JOB DESCRIPTION / PURPOSE:

This is an entry level position focused on the correct and timeous completion of clerical tasks.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supplier invoice processing
  • Relief reception duties
  • Filing
  • Liaising with the finance department
  • Scanning documents
  • Arranging refreshments for meetings
  • Monitoring service providers while they are on site (plants, cleaners, etc.)
  • Various ad hoc tasks assigned from time to time

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric
  • Tertiary qualification (advantageous)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Some experience in a similar position
  • Adaptable, reliable, and eager to help with a 'can do' attitude
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken English)
  • Self-motivated with a motivated, confident and proactive approach
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate across departments
